The terminal is designed to meet the need to increase the annual capacity of Damascus airport
with the ability to handle 25 million passengers a year.
Radial design is adopted, which makes aircraft piers meet in the central grand courtyard, providing a minimum distance between parked aircraft and the center.
The geometric grid extracted from the regular hexagon shape diameters and tangent circles has been used to shape the general outlines, define the glass roof shape and separate the structural parts between the central space and the concourse.
The environmental data were calculated and used To determine the facade's units dimension changes.
